At  Clear Path Psychiatry,  our mission is simple: create a space where innovative psychiatric care feels accessible, effective, and human.

Dr. Molly Davis, (dual board-certified adult and geriatric psychiatrist), and Dr. Veronika Zantop, (a perinatal specialist), have worked alongside psychiatric nurse practitioners Kelsey Knox, PMHNP, and Dr. Eliza Brink, PMHNP, co-founder of Clear Path, to deliver some of the highest level of interventional psychiatric care in the Seattle region.

What Makes Clear Path Psychiatry Different?

We built our practice around both science and compassion. Patients often tell us that the difference they feel here is more than just clinical — it’s personal.

  • Evidence-based treatments guided by research
  • Providers who listen and truly care
  • A calm, supportive setting

How Does our Environment Support Patient Healing?

  • Our Fremont clinic, located along Seattle’s Burke-Gilman Trail, was intentionally designed to reduce stress and promote recovery.
    • Natural light fills our clinic
    • Canal views create a sense of openness
    • Quiet spaces allow patients to rest, work, or recharge between treatments
  • Why Does TMS Matter for Treatment-Resistant Depression?

Many people we see haven’t found relief with medications, which:

    • Take weeks to show benefit
    • Often cause unwanted side effects

Deep Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) offers a non-invasive, well-tolerated alternative.
But standard TMS requires daily sessions for 4 weeks — a barrier for patients balancing school, careers, or long commutes.

How Is Deep TMS Different from Medications?

    • Directly stimulates targeted brain regions linked to mood regulation
    • Avoids systemic side effects that medications can cause
  •       What Barriers Exist with Standard TMS Schedules?

    • Time commitment: daily treatments for four weeks is not realistic for all patients

What Is Accelerated TMS and How Does It Work?

Accelerated TMS makes treatment much faster and easier to complete.

Instead of coming in every day for 4 weeks, patients start with six treatment days (with several short sessions each day).
After that, they return for one treatment day per week for four weeks.

This condensed schedule makes TMS more accessible for people balancing work, school, or family responsibilities — without sacrificing effectiveness.

What Does an Accelerated TMS Treatment Schedule Look Like Compared to Standard TMS?

At Clear Path Psychiatry, accelerated TMS begins with six treatment days spread over two weeks.

Patients receive several short sessions each day, followed by one treatment day per week for four weeks.

    NIMH overview.

“Comparison of Standard vs Accelerated TMS schedules: daily sessions for weeks versus condensed multi-session days.”
Standard TMS = Daily sessions for several weeks. Accelerated TMS = Multiple sessions per day, completed in fewer total weeks.

How Does Accelerated TMS Compare to Standard TMS?

    • Effectiveness: Similar results to standard protocols
    • Efficiency: Condensed schedule with fewer clinic visits
    • Convenience: Less disruption to daily routines

Evidence from the Largest Accelerated TMS Study

“In a recent multi-site clinical trial of accelerated Deep TMS more than 80% of patients with depression improved, and about half achieved full remission of symptoms.”

“Bar chart showing results of accelerated TMS for depression: 80% of patients responded, and 50% achieved remission.”

Clear Path participated in a multi-site clinical trial exploring accelerated Deep TMS (Accelerated iTBS, H1 coil at 110% rMT).

    • 104 participants across eight sites — the largest accelerated Deep TMS study to date
    • Patients showed faster improvements
    • By six weeks, remission and response rates were comparable to standard TMS
    • Patients experienced less disruption to daily life

    Update (Sept 2025): FDA Cleared
Accelerated Deep TMS is now FDA-cleared for depression, including patients with anxiety symptoms.
Insurance coverage is expected to expand soon, making this breakthrough more accessible.

    Voices From Our Team

As Dr. Eliza Brink, PMHNP, shares:

“We’ve often seen medications fall short, and the side effects can be discouraging. TMS has changed the trajectory for so many of our patients. Offering it in an accelerated format has opened doors for people who never thought they could make it work.”

    She adds:

“Rapid treatments like this are shifting the landscape and helping people return to work, return to their families, and return to being themselves more quickly."

What Do These Results Mean for Patients?

For our patients balancing work, family, or school, accelerated TMS represents a new way forward.
It delivers the same effectiveness as standard TMS — in a schedule that feels more manageable.
At Clear Path, we believe psychiatric care should not only be effective, but also practical, timely, and aligned with the realities of everyday life.

    Key Takeaways on Accelerated TMS:

    • Accelerated TMS works faster than standard TMS while delivering comparable results.
    • The condensed schedule means less disruption to daily routines.
    • Clear Path is a Seattle leader in interventional psychiatric care, offering advanced treatments like TMS and Spravato.
    • Now FDA-cleared (Sept 2025), with insurance coverage expected to expand soon.
